First produce of the season!
I planted radishes, carrots, peas and chard last Sunday and after two days of nearly constant rain and then a dose of sunshine, the radishes are starting to peek through!
Looks like a couple of baby robins hatched out recently. I wish them luck in this big scary world.
We got 320 pounds of cow manure compost for the garden today. I’m sure I’ll need more but it’s a start. The spinach seems happy enough without it though.
Camellia Sinensis
Our foray into domestic caffeine production has officially begun. We received our Sochi Tea Plant in the mail today. It seems happy so far with the lovely terracotta pot we got for it. Now we just have to wait and see how it grows.
Mission accomplished.
After a bit of struggling and letting the project sit for a few days, I managed to get this shirt down to size. I took 16 inches of fabric off the body of the shirt and 14 inches off each sleeve. Here’s what it looked like before. In the end, it all turned out well and looked good on me so that was a bonus.
